Clear Aligner Systems
Times have changed for the better! The days of braces as the only tooth straightening option are gone. Clear aligners have emerged as a wonderful way to get that perfect smile. Techniques, materials, and impression-less scanning have facilitated aligner care for patients from pre-teens to adults. Aligners are a great choice for improved comfort and esthetics during treatment. Many musicians, athletes, and patients with compromised teeth that need special/gentle attention benefit greatly from clear aligners.
RTO’s Straight Teeth NOW!
As early adopters of Invisalign® treatment, and after 15 years of dedication in learning to maximize efficiency and esthetics of moving teeth with plastic aligners, we have developed our own branded orthodontic appliance – Straight Teeth NOW! Clear Aligner System. State of the art and high tech!
Invisalign® is the original clear aligner system. For some cases this option is best as it can make longer treatment plans more affordable. RTO has attained the highest level of proficiency and certification recognized by Align Technology. Diamond Platinum Plus Top 1% places RTO at the pinnacle of clear aligner treatment. It is a designation separating RTO from 99% of orthodontic practices in the entire United States!
Braces are used to assist in aligning and straightening teeth in order to not only improve appearance, but improve a person’s bite. Having braces isn’t just about improving your smile; it’s also about improving your overall dental health. Braces may be used in conjunction with other orthodontic appliances to help with making corrections to a person’s bite.
Self-Ligating Metal Braces
At RTO, we utilize the most technologically advanced self-ligated braces available. Our brackets all have small doors that hold the arch wire in place. This decreases friction, increases comfort, and most importantly can decrease treatment time.
Clear Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces are a popular choice for adults and older teens. Our self-ligated ceramic brackets dramatically reduce the appearance of braces. They are made out of a translucent material that will not stain with eating or drinking.
Additional Orthodontic Appliances
Once treatment is complete, a retainer is worn for a period of time, usually just at night. The retainer helps maintain the new smile and also allows for small adjustments, if needed, once the braces have been removed.
Rapid Palatal Expanders
An upper palatal expander is a common and efficient way to widen a narrow jaw. Whether the narrow palate was caused by an airway problem, tongue posture, thumb sucking, or genetics, an expander will help the upper jaw grow to the appropriate width by slowly widening the palate. This also allows for the permanent teeth to erupt safely, relieve crowding and create a wider and more beautiful smile.
